All assessments are conducted virtually, allowing for a comfortable and flexible experience from your own space. I work with adolescents and adults, with a strong focus on supporting adults who may have gone undiagnosed earlier in life and are seeking clarity and understanding.

This assessment provides clinical data and a comprehensive narrative report to assist your medical team. It is not an official medical, psychiatric, or insurance-eligible diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Clients and families typically take this report directly to their primary care provider, pediatrician, or psychiatrist. Having this clinical documentation provides medical teams with helpful context to guide their next steps and/or support referral requests.
Autism Assessment Tools I Use
This is not a cold or overly clinical testing process. I focus on creating a virtual space where individuals feel comfortable being themselves. My goal is not just to assess but to offer a compassionate assessment designed to provide answers and meaningful next steps for individuals and families.
MIGDAS-2 (Monteiro Interview Guidelines for Diagnosing the Autism Spectrum – Second Edition)

When assessing for autism, I use evidence-based tools designed to understand each individual’s unique strengths, challenges, and experiences. Two of the primary assessments I use are the MIGDAS-2 and the SRS-2. Below is a simple overview of what these are and what you can expect.

The MIGDAS-2 is a structured, yet flexible assessment that helps me understand how a person thinks, communicates, and experiences the world. Rather than feeling like a “test,” the MIGDAS-2 is more like a guided conversation combined with interactive activities. I create a calm, supportive space where adolescents and adults can express themselves in a way that feels natural and comfortable. What to expect:A mix of conversation, questions, and visual activitiesOpportunities to share personal experiences, interests, and social understanding
Who participates:The individual being evaluated A parent or caregiver interview is typically included to help me better understand developmental history and daily experiences
Time involved:Child/teen/adult: approximately 60–90 minutesParent/caregiver interview: approximately 60 minutes
SRS-2 (Social Responsiveness Scale Second Edition)
The SRS-2 is a questionnaire that helps me better understand social communication, behavior patterns, and traits often associated with autism. It gives me helpful insight into how someone is functioning in everyday life—at home, at school, at work and in social situations.
What to expect:A brief questionnaire completed by a parent, caregiver, or teacher In some cases, older teens or adults may complete a self-report version Questions that focus on social interactions, communication, and behavior patterns
Time involved:Typically takes about 15–20 minutes to complete
